The Power of Prayer

The power of prayer should not be underestimated. God most definitely listens to prayers, answers prayers, and moves in response to prayers.

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked of him.”

~~ 1 John 5:14-15

I stumbled upon the following video by a young man from the UK (nickgulliver). It is a short presentation about prayer using bible verses and references, set to the music ‘Surrender’ by Marc James.

Why a Prayer Blog?

Why a Prayer Blog?

Prayer is a universal human experience and one of the key tenets of Christianity. Prayer illuminates our relationship with God and allows us to express our love for Him as well as our faith and hope in Him.

Prayer provides the connection to share our concerns, fears, needs and desires with our heavenly Father. The fullness of our prayer life is directly related to the fullness of our spiritual life. When we develop our prayer life, we develop a stronger and deeper relationship with God; our prayers become our point of power.
